Delays This Week Near Drake

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) continues the bridge replacement project on US 34 over the Big Thompson River at milepost 81.13, which is near Drake. As part of the construction, motorists can expect single-lane alternating traffic forthe week of June 23rd.
We are trying to open the bridge in time forthe highly traveledJuly 4th holiday weekend, said CDOT Project Engineer Miranda Roskop. To give us a shot at completing the project in this timeframe, we need to have some additional lane closures this week. We will do our best to minimize delays throughout the week. Motorists can expect single-lane traffic Tuesday, June 24th through Friday June 27th from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Delays of 15-20 minutes can be expected
