No Estes Park Shopper Shuttle this weekend
There will be NO SHOPPER SHUTTLE operations (blue, red & brown routes) this weekend, Sep 5,6,7,2008.- Instead, the vehicles normally used for Town use will be in service specifically for Longs Peak Scottish Irish Highland Festival transportation. Beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, the Scottish Festival organization will operate a free continuous Loop Route from the Holiday Inn to the Visitors Center to Town Hall to Stanley Park to Holiday Inn, etc. Shuttles will stop at each location every half-hour through Sunday, except on Saturday morning, when operations will be suspended only during the parade that starts at West Park Center at 9:30 a.m. -The weekend-only HIKER SHUTTLE WILL BE IN OPERATION as scheduled, with departures from the Estes Park Visitors Center every hour beginning at 6:30 a.m. -Daily service for both the Shopper Shuttle and the Hiker Shuttle ended Labor Day. Beginning next weekend (Sept. 13-14) all the Shopper Shuttle routes (Blue, Red & Brown routes) and the Hiker Shuttles will operate weekends through September 28.
