Before Estes
Evidence of the Native American looks at the material culture alluding to the presence of Native Americans in the Estes Park area. At the time of Joel Estes and his family, the first white settlers to the Estes valley in the mid-nineteenth century, there were no apparent Native American inhabitants. Without a written record of habitation, we can only gather evidence in the form of the objects they left behind. 970-586-6256 200 4th Street.
