The Sublime and the Beautiful in Albert Bierstadt's Landscapes of the West. Join Dr. Eleanor Moseman at 2:00 p.m. to explore the works of famed painter Albert Bierstadt as he depicted the newly explored West. Dr. Moseman is an Assistant Professor of Art History at Colorado State University, where she is the coordinator for art history foundations and teaches world survey as well as courses on modern art. She has also taught courses on feminism in art history, classicism and landscape art. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
