High Climbs From Estes Park To Everest: Winter mountaineering in the Colorado Rockies and the California Sierra Nevada were the perfect training grounds for going on to climb high peaks, including Everest and an attempt on K2. This presentation by Fred Barth will touch on some of these early climbs, focus on Everest's Tibetan side, and his attempt on K2's Abruzzi Ridge. June 22 at 7:00-8:00pm.
