Scandinavian Midsummer Festival
Scandinavians celebrate the summer solstice - the longest day of the year - with a festival of music, flowers, and food in Estes Park the last weekend in June. Festivities begin on Saturday morning with the raising of the Maypole and a colorful opening ceremony. Entertainment by folk dance groups and Scandinavian musicians. Scandinavian food and crafts of all kinds available. All daytime activities of the festival are free and open to the public.
