Holzwarth Historic Site

Holzwarth Historic Site in Rocky Mountain National Park was a 1920s dude ranch. The site can be visited, but without access to these historic structures.

Holzworth is on US Rt 34, about 7 miles north of the Grand Lake entrance to the Park. The lodge buildings are reached by a half mile walkway from the parking lot. A walking path connects the various buildings. Electric cart provides accessibility to the ranch, which is 1/2 mile from the parking lot.The packed gravel trail has interpretive signs, plus a booklet is available at the trailhead for a nominal price. Accessible. Strollers permitted.
