This image reveals the incredibly pictuesque tundra slopes near Thunder Pass. This area sits adjacent to the park's northwest boundary in the Never Summer Mountains. The Michigan Lakes sit at the base of the Nokhu Crags, which break the high ridge in the right half of the photo.
