River Rafting
Rafting the Colorado River, Poudre River, Clear Creek and other rivers is popular in summer. Choose to ride the rapids or to float down a more quiet river.
For he Cache La Poudre river, 2008 is expected to be one of the best whitewater seasons since 2003. Snowpack basin totals for the Poudre
River are 130% of last season and 110% of average. Because of the cooler
conditions during May we are predicting an
above average runoff for the months of June, July and August. This means a
longer season and better whitewater throughout the entire summer - good news for whitewater enthusiasts on the Poudre.
