Wedding sites in Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky has some beautiful places for weddings. Very small groups may enjoy hiking to a special spot. Larger groups will enjoy the following places.

The Park requires a permit and collects a fee. Be sure to read the regulations and apply for the permit in their downloadable information / application sheet.

Lily Lake Group Picnic Area Picnic Area
12 picnic tables, 0 fire pits/grills. Wedding ceremonies for up to 100 people are held on a knoll overlooking the lake. Handicap accessible, Restroom 1/4 mi. away at trailhead. No entrance fee. $50 fee for gate/vehicle access to wedding site.
Hidden Valley Picnic Area
14 picnic tables, 0 fire pits/grills. New restrooms. Trail for walking, group picnic area, smaller picnic sites, Accommodates weddings for up to 100 people.
Alluvial Fan
Large boulders prove the force of water in this area at the lower end of Old Fall River Road. The steep paved trail approaches from both east and west sides. Features educational exhibits. Sprague Lake Picnic Area
Lovely Sprague Lake offers views of the high peaks. This level hardened gravel trail encircles the lake, and features educational exhibits.. Moraine Park Museum & Amphitheater
