Alpine Visitor Center
The Alpine Visitor Center on Fall River Pass at the junction of Trail Ridge Road and Old Fall River Road is open daily May 27-October 10, 2011. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (weather permitting). June 19 - Sept 5 (Labor Day) the hours are 9 to 5. It features extraordinary views of alpine tundra and Fall River Cirque, tundra displays, a bookstore, an adjacent gift shop and snack bar. Rangers lead walks in this Land Above the Trees. Accessible restrooms and vault toilets are available. Call 970-586-1222 for road information.
