Mule deer are everywhere. They browse in bushes, wooded areas and planted gardens.

If you see one along the road, beware; they often dart into the road unexpectedly.

Spotted fawns arrive in spring, May and June.  This baby deer had a twin brother - we came across them and their mother on a July hike in Wild Basin to Calypso Cascades.
