The Lawn Lake trail climbs to a pair of beautiful alpine lakes (Lawn Lake and Crystal Lake) along the course of the Roaring River. The river shows the massive damaged caused by a dam failure in 1982 that claimed the lives of three campers.
The Lawn Lake trailhead is located in the northern section of the park just off of US Highway 34 in Horseshoe Park. Drive west from the Fall River entrance station for two miles. Turn right onto Fall River Road. The trail parking lot is on the right almost immediately after the turn.
