Hallett Peak - Chaos CouloirI shot this video of an ascent of Hallett Peak via Chaos Couloir on April 15, 2007. Chaos Couloir (I'm pretty sure that's its name) is a an obscure couloir on the the southeast face of Hallett Peak that tops out near the top of the First Buttress. We accessed it by the unimproved trail up to Lake Haiyaha. It was a pretty fun climb but the snow was pretty soft in places making it a lot of work and a struggle to keep the balling in check.
