Rocky Mountain National Park Visitor's Guide

Longs Peak - Keyhole Ridge

This is a video I shot of a climb of Keyhole Ridge on Longs Peak, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, USA (September 2, 2006). It was a fun climb in a spectacular setting though it turned out to be a lot easier than we thought it would be (at least with the variation we took by passing the second tower on the west side). We ended up only roping up for one pitch, and even that was only about 20' of 5.5 climbing. Fabio lead it and placed 1 nut and slung two horns - that was all the pro we needed for the entire day! It was still fun though and we couldn't have asked for better weather
