Alpine Visitor Center on Fall River Pass at the junction of Trail Ridge Road and Old Fall River Road is open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. mid June through early October.
Trail Ridge Road opens for the summer season in late May, and closes for winter (usually around the end of October).
It features extraordinary views of alpine tundra and Fall River Cirque, tundra displays, a bookstore, an adjacent gift shop and snack bar (the only restaurant in the Park). Accessible restrooms and vault toilets are available. Call 970-586-1222 for road information.
Rangers lead Tundra Nature Walks (1.5 to 2 hours) daily at 10am in this Land Above the Trees.
At the Visitor Center, learn "All About Lightning" - a 20 to 30 minute talk given at 2:30p on Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, and Sat.
Take a 3 hour guided hike to learn about High Country Geology. 9am on Wed.
